Chanel Chevron Quilted Large Statement Flap Bag in Burgundy Calfskin - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Chanel Chevron Quilted Large Statement Flap Bag in Burgundy Calfskin with Shiny Gold Hardware.

A design first introduced in the Fall Winter 2017 Collection Act 1, this stunning, single flap bag is such a simple, elegant style it has formed part of the Seasonal Collection ever since.

Crafted from a beautiful bordeaux toned, finely grained calfskin, (called Burgundy even though it's quite russety,) it's light to carry, easy to use and can be worn long or doubled on the shoulder.

Details -

A soft sided silhouette that holds its shape perfectly, the form is excellent with only very light horizontal creasing across the upper rear from the motion of the flap opening.

The quilt is all puffy thouthout, stitching tight and hardware is bright and shiny.

Original protective film in place on underside of lockplate and interior zip pull, the front CC clasp is excellent with only hairline polish scratches, (not visible to the naked eye.)

Light surface scuffing along the middle area of the edge of the front flap and a little darkening around to its corner curves, as shown. There is a very small and inconspicuous pale dot to the rear, lower RH side of the bag, (see location circled). Base corner curves are completely unworn.

The interwoven chain strap feels wonderful in the hand, is without wear, just some minor darkening around the edges of the leather pieces. 

The reason for the Condition Rating is due to, what appears to be, a dry, whitish surface residue to the upper front of the bag and top rear. Shown in close up detail above, it's extremely difficult to capture on camera and is one of those rare occassions when an issue looks more pronounced to the naked eye than in the photos. These two areas are slightly paler in colour and though slight, this is visible in use, so colour restoration would be recommended to return it to a consistent shade. This has been reflected in the price.

Lined in clean, fine weave grossgrain with a zipped pocket and slip section. There is a single, small rub to lining on the middle of the main compartments base, which appears as a mark however it's just a slight textural change.
