This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Medium Lily in Dark Oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny (called 'Soft') Gold Hardware.

 Crafted from a rich, caramel toned oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather from 2018, this lovely, larger sized Lily is perfect if your prefer the darker, more pebbly grained appearance of the recent Small Classic Grain leather but still the want character and robustness of classic NVT. The best of both worlds!

The Seller has also included a multi pocket, felt liner. RRP £36.

 

  Condition -  Very Good

 

Details-

A thick yet supple hide with a gentle glaze, the form is nicely softened and there's no actual wear to the leather whatsoever. Corners and curves are perfect, all stitching is tight and inking (edge sealent) in place.

A dark oak shade, a slight patina has has developed with use, though this adds to the attractiveness of the piece and will blend and develop into an even more characterful finish with time and care. Two, natural, diagonal striations in the grain can be noted to the front, upper RH side of the flap. Shown in detail in the Gallery above these form part of the inherent make up of the hide and are not scuffs, scratches or a fault.

Lots of light surface scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate with a few dot 'dinks' from contact with the chain, (much less visible than the close up photos make them appear.) Perimeter finish loss to the turnlock end, (not visible to the naked eye,) and as the underside plates retained their original protective film (removed for photographs) these are pristine.

The interwoven chain and leather shoulder strap and top D rings are excellent.

Lined in clean, soft brown microfibre with a couple of vague dark marks to the upper RH side of the flaps' lining.
