This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Pochette Félicie in Cognac Monogram Empreinte with Golden Brass Hardware.

 A classic, envelope flap, shoulder clutch, crafted from a rich, gold-toffee toned, monogram embossed, grainy calfskin hide. A colour now so sadly, discontinued, it's such a beautifully warm shade.

Comprising of two, removable insert pouches, it's practical, pretty and fabulously versitile. Carry by hand as a neat clutch, attach the chain shoulder strap to wear on the shoulder or across the body, (though will sit on or above hip level.) .

Without very close inspection this piece looks in an Excellent condition throughout.

A nicely firm, semi structured hide with precise monogram embossing, it's entirely colour consisent and both the insert pouches are As-New.

The only immediate evidence of use is the inevitable surface scratches to the Louis Vuitton embossed front popper. Shown with the zoom, they are nowhere near as visible to the naked eye.

Lined in clean, robust linen textile with just one very small, vague, dark dot smudge to the front wall, (barely there), all stitching is tight, all inking, (edge sealent / bonding) in place without flex cracking and both D rings and shoulder chain are excellent.

The only reason this piece hasn't achieved an Excellent condition rating is due to an issue present from construction. The rear, RH sides vertical back panel edge is not uniformly straight and displays a slight inward curve. Not affecting any other part of the form and not visible from the front, it's something that most wouldn't even notice. 

The reason for the *notation is also due to a manufacturing related issue. The clear adhesive applied as a sealent to the seam edges by the craftsman (before the black inking is added), occassionally runs over the flat edge onto the sides and when dried can be seen as a ruffled residue. Affecting the lower corner areas, base seams and side panel seams, it looks like tiny white flecks. Again much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos makes this appear, this residue can be removed with tweezers if you have a huge amount of patience and time.
