The Louis Vuitton Mahina finish was inspired by Polynesian culture who believed the phases and crescents of the moon were controlled by 'Mahina' ...a lunar deity.  This leather is drummed gently in construction to pull up the grain and the skin then coated to preserve its beauty and provide resilience. 

Condition -  Very Good

Details -

 Well shaped, soft and tactile in the hand, there's no immediate visible wear. Colour consistent, all motifs are precise, stitching all strong and edging (inking sealent) is perfect throughout, (even at flex points).

Light surface scratches to the front embossed popper (invisible to the naked eye), the embossed zip pull to the coin purse is bright and shiny and runs smoothly to both sides. There are contact scratches to the zips base header however are much less noticable in use than the close up photos make these appear.

The interior is fully lined in smooth, very finely grained calfskin with a few, a few light surface impressions to the interior lining of the zipped purse, from coins. 

A single, extremely light, curved fingernail scratch to the interior lining's front card slot, the main reason for the Condition Rating is due the very vague, small, and light, blue pen mark to the inner RH side seam of the coin purse trim, (see zoomed photo above). Completely unnoticable.
