This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Darwin Leather with Antique Brass Hardware.

The Seller has also included a multi-pocket Felt Liner with key clip.

Made in England.... the Mulberry icon, this rich, teak toned Bayswater is crafted from a thick and characterful, original Darwin hide.

A gingery undertone and a really decent 17.5cm shoulder strap drop, it's so rare to find these pieces in a good condition.

 

  Condition - Good Used

 

Details -

Gently softened, the form is still very good, (handles will flop downwards if not placed upright or held,) with a slight horizontal crease across the back's middle.

A natural, diagonal  striation in the grain and small burnish to the rear of the bag, the lower LH side panel displays some light rain spot patination near the base, as shown.

Corners display only very light wear, all stitching is strong and inking (edge sealent) in place with drying and softening to the handle bases.

Top handles are softened with very slight darkening to the top areas where oils from hand holding have absorbed.

A pin head sized dink* to the leather on the base, this has just broken the surface of the hide but is unnoticable and will not worse or detrimentally affect the use of the bag in any way.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays light friction rubbing around the turnlock hole an a vague shadow to the metal on the RH side.  The turnlock sides display scratching / loss of finish and there are light contact scratches between the underside lockplates.

Base feet display scratching / loss of finish to their apex from being placed down.

The interior is self lined in entirely clean suede with two leather slip pockets and zip section.

Please note the 'Mulberry' lettering to the interior badge has lost it foil embossing over time and is now barely visible.
