Louis Vuitton Braided Plait Top Handle in Black Calfskin - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Braided Plait Top Handle in Black Calfskin with Golden Brass Hardware.

 Customise your LV with this short, braided top handle crafted from robust, pebbly calfskin.

From a Maida MM hobo, it has a soft feel in the hand, but a semi structured design so will 'give' gently but not slouch.

Can be added to any suitably sized bag with D rings, (please review measurements carefully.)

Details -

Firm, (but not rigid), it's well shaped and without close inspection looks perfect.

Snap hooks are bright and shiny with only tiny surface scratches, (not visible to the naked eye,) and the black calfskin is entirely unworn.

The reason it has achieved an Excellent condition rating is due to the ruffling to the edge sealant that LV use in construction. The side of the leather strips in the plait are coated with a bonding 'glue' which has a tendency to ruffle and appears as tiny white dots. Barely visible, this does not affect the use of the piece in any way.
