 This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alexa Classic Regular Sized Classic Satchel in Petrol Silky Snake Printed Calfskin with Shiny Gold Hardware.

A rare opportunity to acquire an originally styled Lexy in a stunning, silky snake printed calfskin finish, with feature, snake scale profile Postmans Lockplate.  

Crafted in a subdued, teal-blue shade from a medium to lightweight hide that relaxes and becomes more defined with time and use.

An incredibly intricate finish, each individually hand cut scale is meticulously carved creating the Anaconda snake skin effect that gives these pieces so much depth and character.

Details -

Original protective film in place on all lockplates, this piece has just been stored carefully since purchase, (2014.)

Protective film not present on metal clad satchel strap tip ends which display surface scratches, (much less visible to the naked eye.)

Colour consistent, these pieces have a naturally supple silhouette, (you'll need to add in a firm Felt Liner if you prefer a more structured form.)

The main reason this piece hasn't achieve a higher Condition Rating is due to the inherent nature of the leather type. As soon as constructed and handled this leather immediately shows dimension. With any sort of movement the scales are designed to curl slightly at the edges and develop inevitable lifting which shows the lighter tone of the hide beneath. This is a characteristic of the hide and not a fault.

There are numerous lifted scales over the surface of the bag and some small, white surface marks to the rear, LH side (all shown in the Gallery above). 

Lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat cotton with a leather trimmed slip section, zipped pocket and suede lined top flap. A small dot scratch to the leather of the D ring loop on the inner RH side and a small mark to the suede on the interior flap can be noted on close inspection.
