This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Evelina Large Hobo in Summer Khaki Soft Large Grain Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware. 

Named after the Ukrainian model Evelina Mambetova who walked Mulberry's New York autumn/winter 2010 show, the creative director at the time, Emma Hill said. "The Evelina is definitely a welcome addition to our long line of well crafted, heirloom bags. She's edgy and totally of the season, yet at the same time carries all that is traditionally Mulberry. We love how she manages to be both clean and minimal, but super sexy at the same time. Her multi-way wear options and slouchy leather make her one of our favourites for spring/summer 2012"

 Crafted from a thick, deeply textured and nicely robust pebbled calfskin, (superior to the current Heavy Grain in my view) its a hide that will make you remember why the Emma Hill era was so celebrated. 

Lots of design DNA, from the trompe l'oeil side plaque detailing, to the mini Tree 'pin' badge and the inlaid hardware feature top handle, the Evelina may be Vintage but she's most certainly a Mulberry masterpiece. 

Acres of space, easy to use and ideal to carry on the shoulder by way of the top handle or shoulder strap, (you can wear cross body but will sit high and it she is quite large!) she's an every day bag you will never need to baby.

As unstructured silhouette, wear the top closed with the self locating snap popper or fold down for the traditional hobo shape .... she'll even pack flat so great for travel.

A beautiful, sage green shade with delicate grey undertones, it's a colour that seems to complement so many others.

Details -

Entirely colour consistent, (the intensity of the shade changes colour due to the light variations whilst photographing,) the leather is pristine throughout. No wear, no marks, scratches or scuffs and all piping trims immaculate.

Stitching tight and inking (edge sealant) in place and the leather to both the top handle and shoulder strap shows no wear.

There are a few light scratches to the top handle's central metal piece, the side plaques display friction scratches where the shoulder straps clips contact and there are light scratches to the apex of the base feet. All shown in the Gallery above.

Lined in clean, beige Mulberry Tree jacquard with a side pocket and leather trimmed slip. There is a small pinkish mark just above the pocket and a very vague dark smudge to the lining on the other side, as shown.*
