Dior Medium Essential Tote in Smooth Black Archicannage Quilted Calfskin

This is a 100% authentic Dior Medium Sized Essential Tote in Smooth Black Archicannage Quilted Calfskin with Shiny Champagne Gold Hardware.

Sleek, strong & functional, with clean 'Book Tote' lines but far more subtlety in its design, this large, (way more generous than a 'medium' in my view,) shoulder bag was designed by Grazia Chiuri for the Fall-Winter 2022-23 collection

Crafted from a smooth, soft to the touch, black calfskin with oversized 'archicannage' quilt stitching and lined the most luxuriously thick, velvet pile suede, it's a proper Dior statement piece that doesn't shout, DIOR.

Carry on the shoulder or add in a longer strap to the O rings at the top of the bag. Please note this design does not come with a long strap, it's been shown on the mannequin for illustration purposes only. The shoulder strap shown is not included in the sale.

Details -

Carried only a handful of times, without close review it appears in an Excellent condition throughout.

Perfectly shaped, entirely colour consistent, no immediately visible wear ......all corners and top points are perfect, all stitching is tight and hardware is bright shiny with only the lightest contact scatches to the O rings and top, piston-lock clasp.

Original protective film in place on interior zip pull, the lining is a clean, deep nap, ultra plush suede with natural gentle ruffling. (No marks, its just looks like this in the photo due to the way the pile lies in different directions.)

An extremely light, diagonal surface impression to the middle of the base panel and a barely there, vertical, fingernail scuff to the rear, upper LH side of the bag. The reason this stunning piece hasn't achieved an Excellent condition rating is due to the horizontal scratch across the lower RH rear of the bag. All much less visible to the naked eye, this has also been reflected in the price.
