Whilst it's rare for the Nest to list a Well Used piece there are some that are so swoonsome, it would be wrong not to.

Even more lovely for all the use it's received, I always find it so interesting how different bags age in completely different ways.

A true testiment to Mulberry's vintage leather quality and craftsmanship.

I'm hoping the photos do justice to the leather, it's utterly scrumptious!

Super creasy, gently glossy and amazingly characterful, the form has softened considerably with use and the top flap is fabulously floppy.

Top handles will lay downwards if not held and they are completely bendy and pliable, so wonderfully comfortable to wear.

No actual wear to the hide whatsoever. Base corner piping is unscuffed, just a little colour rubbing and very minor drying. All the fingernail scratches that this piece has acquired over the years have blended completely, (this is the most forgiving finish once you break it in.) 

Stitching all tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place....even to to handle bases and around the top aperture, which is incredible considering the age and use this bag has received. A very small sliver of absent inking to the rear LH handle's inner, most likely present from construction.

The Postmans Lock Plate is stunning. Crafted from the old style, more uniformly toned, glossy brass hardware, there are a couple of small scratches to the upper RH perimeter and lower LH perimeter. Underside plates are similarly excellent (this finish was wonderful to avoid friction wear!) Base feet and turnlock sides display scratching and finish loss. 

The interior is clean, self lined, rufffled suede with zipped pocket and two slip pockets.
