This is a 100% authentic Hermès Gold H Constance Belt 32mm in Reversible Orange Epsom & Black Swift.

The iconic, Constance H buckle belt kit, (size 95cm) in Hermès orange and black.

Complemented by brushed gold hardware, it's such a classic colour combination.

"The very first interchangeable buckle was designed by the stylist Catherine Karoly in 1967. It was so successful that people lined up outside the Faubourg store. As a result of its popularity and for practical reasons, salesmen ended up naming it after the draw in which it was stored: the famous No. 5382 draw.  Details -

The appearance of  the leathers of the belt is Excellent when worn. Similarly the H buckle unless inspecting very closely.

The Hermès orange epsom leather is excellent with only slight creasing around the holes and a couple of very gentle, vertical surface impressions.

The black swift leather displays a number of surface impression where the previous owner placed the buckle.

The form of the belt has developed a natural slight curve (as happens with use,) and there is a small undulation to one edge at the centre. Shown from both sides and all angles, this is unnoticable in use.

Stitching is excellent throughout and all edging in place.

The underside of the H Buckle is a grained matte finish and the upper side a brushed finish with shiny polished bevels and end pieces. There are a number of light surface scratches and tiny surface dints as shown in the zoomed photos above. All much less visible to the naked eye than the photos make them appear.
