Hermés Bolide 27 Mou in Gris Etain Swift Leather with Gold Hardware

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Bolide Mou 27 in Etain Grey Swift Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

Please note cloche & padlock are not present.

Crafted from a beautifully smooth and finely grained, matte-finish hide in the classic, true grey Hermés shade, (without brown undertones,) this curvy, soft sided Bolide is the epitome of understatement.

Carry by hand or on the shoulder, (please note the strap drop is not sufficient for crossbody wear.)

Emile-Maurice Hermès first designed the Hermès Bolide bag in 1923 for his wife. An Hermès lover’s must-have, it was the first bag to use a zipper closure and is still one of the most recognised and idolised designs today.

Extremely well cared for, the naturally supple form has been very gently further softened with use, (which only adds to its beauty), but there's no wear whatsoever.

A natural forward nod when empty, the hips and top handles are perfectly shaped and it's entirely colour consistent throughout.

 Corners or curves are pristine, there are no marks to the hide, just an extremely small and incredibly light fingernail scuff to the surface of the hide on the front, lower LH side and a miniscule, dot scratch to the RH side of the front, top handle. Both barely visible to the naked eye.

The reason for the *notation is due to the surface impressions to the hide from storage. A light, curved impression to the front, lower RH side and  similar one to the lower base, (just to the LH side of centre.) A more pronounced one appears as a series of dotted impression to the base's middle, LH side, where it has rested on the chain strap of a Chanel bag. Shown in full detail in the Gallery above, this has been reflected in the price.

Stitching is strong throughout and edging is all in place with only a little rubbing to the interior curve of the attachment loop on one end of the shoulder strap.

The zip pull, end snap clips and D rings are bright and shiny with minor contact scratching and finish loss to the apex of the base feet from being placed down, (which appears as a goldy tone....the black is just a reflection of the camera lens.) 

Always carried with a handbag liner, the interior is As New with side slip pocket.
