This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Monogram Medium Sunset Shoulder Bag in Black Grained Calfskin with Shiny Silver Hardware.

The 2017 version with a removable, leather, fixed-drop strap, this design is wonderfully versitile as you can use the strap of your choice! Add in a pretty chain strap for the evening or a casual sporty strap to wear as a messenger, (shown with an embroidered long strap for illustration only, [not included in the sale,] the leather strap has a fixed drop of 51cm so may sit on or above hip level if worn across the body.)
A softly structured silhouette with curves in all the right places, it's crafted from a tactile, grainy hide, finished by a lovely, high-gloss, black inking, (edge sealant.)
A handy, rear slip pocket & sections for everything, it's the ideal bag for day or night.

Details -
No immediately visible wear, it's well shaped, colour consistent, stitching all tight and hardware, beautifully bright and shiny. Only under magnification can you see the tiny, surface scratches to the YSL plaque and slight dulling to the embossed, magnetic base plate popper from contact.
The reason this piece hasn't achieved an Excellent condition rating is due to a small twin catch to the inking on one side of the shoulder straps end, (location circled and shown with the zoom from both sides.) There are also natural flex crackles to the inking at each side of the flap and inner cuves of the interior aperture edge. Shown to the full extent in the photos above, none are visible without the closest of inspections.
Lined in clean, gently ruffled, thick, deep-nap suede with three internal sections and slip pocket. A couple of very light fingernail scratches to the interior lining of the flap, (only visible if you angle to view.)
